We wanted to find a way to thank all of you for supporting our club's shoot so we will be providing a complimentary "Thanksgiving" luncheon for all shooters. The luncheon will include smoked/BBQ turkey, ham, mashed potato, fruit salad and pumpkin pie.
Please plan on joining us for lunch after you have completed your match. Lunch will be served from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
Thanks for your support!!

2008 National Sporting Clay’s Championship’s
The 20th National Sporting
Clay Championship was held in San Antonio, Texas Oct 27th
– November 2nd. There were over 1400 shooters in
attendance over the week long shoot.
All courses (including sub-gauges and
K-Kup) were set by professional target setters from different parts
of the U.S. This made each course have its own flavor of targets.
This also meant there were some types of targets that shooters had
never seen before. Many of us from the Northwest commented on how
exciting it was to see those kinds of targets especially with the
different terrain. Everyone commented that they were all targets that
could be shot.
Mike Wilgus, 2nd Team
All–American, shot the Main Event with All–American’s Jon
Kruger, Bill McGuire, Gary Phillips, and Brian Hughes. Mike put up a
stellar performance each day and at the conclusion of the 300 bird
Main Event, Mike shot a stellar 275 out of 300. H.O.A. was Anthony
Matarese, Jr. with 285 out of 300.
Everything about the 2008 National’s
was fantastic… great targets, great camaraderie, and great weather
(75 to 80 degrees). We had a record number of Pacific Northwest shooters
at the Nationals. Congratulation to Mike and all the other shooters
on their performance at the 2008 National’s.
